Hanham 'A' 1 - 5 Bath 'B'

In summary... Ugh.Draws for Peter and Anthony. My game wasn't looking too bad, had loads of chances but his extra pawnbecame too much in the end before I ran out of moves. Steve

Clevedon 'B' 2 - 4 Hanham 'A'

Wins for Glen (board 1), Peter (board 2) and Anthony (board 5).

Anthony's opponent castled by moving his rook first... It was the sameopponent that Anthony had who did this to him last year... Anthony lethim off this time but did point out to him that other players wouldcomment on it.

Andy Sherman drew on board 3.

I drew on board four, I had won the exchange (rook for knight) but hadto take the perpetual check as I was desperately short on time.

Brian Jones unfortunately lost on board 6.

Overall, a good bounce-back following last week's heavy home defeatagainst Bath. Steve
