Clevedon v Hanham

A tough match which we drew on the nigh but unfortunately we did not progress due to board count.

Keynsham v Hanham

We won 3.5 - 2.5.

Due to my car breaking down on the way to the game Andy Macleod and myself were late (but still arrived earlier than Anthony ).

I left as soon as my game finished, I managed to draw. I think I had the better position when Doreen offered me the draw. With my head all over the place I gratefully accepted. There was a danger that I could easily lose and she had earlier missed a winning move.

I will gather more info to write a fuller report or if anyone wants to add anything they are welcome.

Many thanks to the whole team and especially the Andys Mr. Macleod for helping push my car to safety and Mr. Sherman for taking over the job of captain with no notice whatsoever.
